The most auspicious names for babies are those that have a
destiny number (adding the numerological values of letters
of the full name and reducing them to a single digit) so
that they add up to a 1, 2, 3 or 8. By full name I mean the
first, any middle names and the last name.
If you can master this frustrating bit of math:
A baby with a Destiny number (full name) that adds up to 1
may be destined to be a world leader.
A baby with a Destiny number that adds up to 2 will likely
have a very happy love life.
A baby with a Destiny number that adds up to 3 is likely to
be successful and famous.
A baby with a Destiny number that adds up to 8 is likely to
be very wealthy.
A baby with a Destiny number that adds up to 11 is likely
to be an influential, creative person and a spiritual
leader.
A baby with a Destiny number that adds up to a 22 is a
master builder and is likely to change the world for the
better in some way.
And if you are a scheming grandmother who wants lots of
children you should look for destiny numbers that add up to
6 which is sure to saddle your offspring with many
descendents. Unfortunately you might also saddle your child
with so much responsibility that they rarely have time for
themselves, extra cash or the time to grow as a person.
Of course, try to find a name that adds up to 1,2,3 or 8 is
all dependent on the numerical values of your last name. If
achieving a positive number or the exact number that you
want seems next to impossible then your best course of
action is to make sure the first or middle names add up to
one of the auspicious numbers.
To save you a bit of trouble here is a list of first and
middle names that add up to auspicious numbers. This will
make the trait of leadership, wealth or whatever you like
more prominent in their life. This list is by no means
comprehensive but a sampling of what I could find by going
through a baby names book and doing some addition in a few
hours.
Auspicious Life Path 1 Names (LEADERSHIP)
What is interesting about Life Path 1 names is that many of
the names that we usually associate with power and respect
seemed naturally to add up to a 1 for boy names (such as
Hadrian and Barrington0. By contrast many of the Life Path
1 names I found for females were more unusual and sometimes
even implied an overtly sexual connotation such as Babette
or a dour one such as Olga.

Another thing you might want to notice is that a slight
difference in spelling can make the difference in a Life
Path. For example, Hannah with an h on the end might create
the next female president but Hanna (without the H) adds up
to a 2 in which case the child is more likely to marry
early and be a homemaker.
Another good example of what a difference a single letter
can make is Michele. Michele with one l is a 1, which is a
leader while Michelle with two l's adds up to a 4 (a life
filled with hardship.)

Oddly when searching around for Life Path names that added
up to a 2 it was a lot harder to find known female names
that add up to a 2. Maybe that explains all of the single
mothers on the planet. In fact this list is a little short
because it was difficult to find names that would add up to
a 2 in general

Essences chart? The answer is yes, however, if you do

Here is a breakdown on what the different Essence Transit
Numbers can mean for your health.
Essence Transit Number 1
Generally a Number 1 transit indicates good health or the
return of health as it indicates fresh beginnings. The Number
1 generally symbolizes the head. Stress could also
be a problem as a person normally takes on additional
responsibility during this transit. If the transit number
lasts three years or more than managing stress or weight
problems might become a priority. Problems with the legs
or feet might also subconsciously indicate the person is
having trouble "moving forward" because of the prolonged

can also mean problems with the First Chakra which
symbolizes vitality and energy so constant fatigue or burn
out could be the result if the number value is present for

Essence Transit Number 2
Generally this transit indicates excellent health and also

could indicate problems with the eyes, ears, lymph nodes,
ovaries, testes and any other organ that comes in "twos" in

Sometimes a prolonged 2 transit can also indicate

This transit usually indicates great health and in

of the invalid or isolated individual. Usually a person
with a prolonged 7 transit finds him or herself isolated in
some way from society due to a psychological or physical
disorder. The number 7 represents the Crown Chakra and the
realization of consciousness. A prolonged Number 7 transit
can result in problems with the immune system. As the Crown
Chakra also symbolizes the higher self the person may
suffer from health issues that makes them question their
faith in the universe.
Essence Transit Number 8
This transit number usually indicates a period of excellent
health. The Middle Crown Chakra, also sometimes known as
the Violet Flame, which is a conduit for the higher self to
a Higher Power, symbolizes it. A prolonged Number 8 transit
can sometimes lead a person down a very materialistic path
that sometimes is so carnal that it does cut them off from
their conscience, their common sense and even from God.
This can lead to a personal demoralization, a lack of
awareness or even abuse of one's physical body as well as
personality disorders.
Essence Transit Number 9
This transit number does not necessarily symbolize
excellent health and in fact many individuals do suffer
some kind of wake up call to do with their health that
challenges their current life style during even a brief
Essence Number 9 transit. Sometimes this crisis is
psychological or emotional and sometimes it is physical. To
find the causes you might want to look at the values of the
first, middle and last names of the individual to see if
that offers any clues. For instance if the individual's
first name value adds up to a 3, the second name to a 3 and
the third to a 3 then the problem would caused by the
stress of being too famous and busy (as 3 is the number of
fame.) The number 9 symbolizes the 9th Chakra hovers a

symbolize periods of time where it is more beneficial to
focus on your career or building wealth than on love or
other areas. One of the benefits of doing an essence chart
at all is to find out what area of your life should be your
focus during any time period. However as definitive and
predictive as this all sounds keep in mind that some of the
wealth numbers are also good for marriage and love such as
an 8 or a 2.
The best Essence Transit years for building wealth or
career advancement would have a value of 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and
8. When you examine your chart you should look for these
numbers, as they would represent the period of time during
which you should be focusing on making money, building a
business or advancing your career. This is especially true
if the transit lasts for three years as a transit that is
any shorter or longer could indicate an opportunity that is
transient and doesn't impact your life for that long. For
instance a transit of an 8 for 2 years could indicate
having a great job for two years that suddenly ends or
making a lot of money and then unexpectedly spending it
all.
Below are the interpretations of the Essence numbers that
are good for wealth, business and career building.
The Essence Transit Number 1 is a predictor that you will
start something new and start to build on it. In terms of
career it can indicate a new job or a promotion or the
chance to be in a leadership position. It can also indicate
the birth of new business.
The Essence Transit Number 2 is a predictor that you could
find financing for a business or career dream or finally
find the business partner you have been looking for to help

The Essence Transit Number 3 is an indicator of fame,
fortune and wealth. This is a great transit as it
symbolizes making money doing what you love the most. It is
very easy for any business to get a lot of attention and

The Essence Transit Number 5 is a predictor that you will

number sequence that repeats itself quite frequently. You
will notice this if you examine her entire chart (submitted
in previous newsletters.) If you look at her Essence Chart
the same way you would a point spread sheet you will notice
there are very few years where the number 3 does not figure
as a value twice in her chart. This accounts for this
actress's fame.
As you can see you can find out a lot of information about
your wealth and career out of just one Essences chart. The

In the last three newsletters we have taught you how to
calculate and interpret essence numbers and intuitively
read the meaning of the Essence number transits using a
fictional case study. In this newsletter we are going to
see how this works as a way of analyzing the life of singer
Kurt Cobain. We thought Kurt Cobain might be an
appropriate choice for this study as first of all his life
was short (making him a quick example) and his death was
allegedly a suicide.
Kurt Cobain was born Kurt Donald Cobain on February 20,
1967.

One of the most striking things about this chart is (with
the exception of a period between the ages of 5 and 9) it
is filled with so many short transits lasting one year.
This means that the influences on Cobain as a child would
be very fleeting and that he had lived through many
different types of transits before he was fifteen. His
short year transits include ages 3, 4 and 5, 9, 10, 11 and
12 and 14. This is eight short transits before he is an
adult which is almost like living a lifetime of experiences
before you grow up. This can also indicate a soul that is
old for his age.
Another indication that Cobain was old for his age is his
birth number, which is 9. This is a very spiritual number
as well as one that indicates a leader, which he certainly
was in music. Individuals who are born a 9 are likely to
shift mass awareness or consciousness in some way. As it is
the number of endings it is also the marker of an
individual who might consider suicide.
It is very well documented that Cobain's artistic and
musical talent began to manifest at an early age and that
he first began drawing in earnest around age 5. If you
look at his transits you will see that it does indeed
indicate a Life Essence 3 period of creative expression and
freedom. There are four 3s lasting from the years 1972 to
1975 which indicates that a person that very much lives in
the realm of the imagination and not necessarily in a
totally healthy way. Dreaming may have been a form of
escapism for this young man.
Given the number of 3's and 8's in his childhood before age
ten it is unlikely that Cobain suffered any kind of abusive
or deprived childhood as all of those numbers represent
family security, happiness and wealth.
At age 11 and age 15 Cobain's chart is dominated by the
number 7. These are years that are dominated by the Essence
number 7 which can signify brilliance but also depression
and self-imposed isolation. As his parents divorced when he
was 11 it is likely that this is what triggered these bouts
of being depressed. In fact at age 15, Cobain's favorite
drawing subject was animal or body parts which rings true
to the anti-social nature of the number 7 Essence Number.
In 1983 and 1984, Cobain switched high schools twice which
fits in well the Essence 5 dominance of those two years as
5 means wandering, travel and meeting new faces.
From 1985 on there is a period of deprivation as
represented by the Essence number 6. This was a time during
which Cobain was sleeping on friend's couches and starving
for his art. It is also a time of discipline and working on
music as he gathered together the band members that would
later become Nirvana.
In 1988, Cobain formed Nirvana and this is where is
numerology transforms into a straight slew of Essence
Number 8s that except for one year, lasts right until his
death. Also during these years, which represent wealth and
prosperity he married Courtney Love and had a child. His
music made him a very rich man.
In 1993, the year before he committed suicide Cobain was
experiencing an Essence 5 year which is about loneliness
and travel. At that time it Cobain developed an ulcer and a
drug habit thanks to the pressures of touring all over the
world. This is possibly what precipitated his suicide the
following year which was August 8.
Interestingly it is difficult to surmise why Cobain
committed suicide unless you take yourself outside merely
reading the values of the Essences totaled for each year.
If you look at his chart there is one single number that
dominates all three rows of the First, Last and Middle
Names of his chart and that is Number 9. Number 9 is not
only the number of revolution, endings and spiritual
seeking -- it is also a number that can denote a chronic
depressive especially if it is dominates the entire chart.
The other dominant number is 3, which of course is the
number of fame.

Interpreting the Essence numbers can be a complex,
intuitive process as it is not only just interpreting what
each year might be like for the individual but also the
length of the transits.
In the next newsletter we will go back to our fictional
chart from the last newsletter about how to calculate the
Essence Numbers to give you an idea of how they might be
interpreted for a chart. However for now, here are the
based interpretations that you need to familiarize yourself
with.
Essence Number 1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Essence of the number 1 signals a time of initiation,
birth and rebirth. It is generally a healthy exciting time
when new ideas are developed and a general atmosphere of
optimism prevails.
Essence #1 can also denote a period of growth that can lead
to recognition, respect and fame. It can also denote a
happy time in career when one is finally making money doing
something they love/
Of course there is no birth without labor and a one Essence
period can denote a time of great change. However it is
also a period of strength and stamina so you can handle
anything that comes your way.
If this essence remains in effect for 3 years or more... it
can indicate a tumultuous time in which their might be too
many changes for a person to handle It can signify a
serious of dramatic changes that (for better or worse) keep
the person hopping. Whatever the event or change is its
impact is felt for years.
It is also a period of time when you can expect a great
deal of assistance and nurturing from others.
Essence Number 2
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Essence of number 2 is a time of consolidation and
organization. It is also a period of growth but it may also
contain setbacks.
Usually during this Essence period people are very focused
on their relationships and making them work. Teamwork is
also a focus of this aspect and it is not very likely you
will get very far in life without the cooperation of other
people.
Energy and vitality are often low during this cycle and you
may need to be nurtured or mentored by others. The Two
cycle is also associated with frustrations, obstacles,
delays and setbacks that are all part of a larger, often
spiritual learning curve.
If this essence remains in effect for 3 years or more...you
may experience a period of nervous or psychological
difficulties due to the frustrations and tensions this
period brings.
Essence Number 3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Essence of the number 3 denotes a joyous and gratifying
period in life. Friends both old and new may be the focus
of your life. It can also indicate a time when you find a
love or have an old love renewed.
Adventures, travels and the opportunity to expand your
horizons in every aspect of your life also characterize
this period. It emphasis is on good times and successful
ventures.
An Essence 3 number is also associated with fame and
recognition for artists and performers of every kind. It is
a good time for creativity and entrepreneurship.
If this period extends for 3 years or more it indicates a
turning point for a creative individual in which they
become very famous.
Essence Number 4
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This cycle indicates a more serious or sober time. It is a
time of organization and discipline. Struggles with
financial, health and career matters are indicated.
Usually an Essence 4 period is not that fun as nothing
seems to fall in your lap and you have to earn every penny
you make. It is a time that requires a practical, rational
outlook on life. Things build slowly and although success
is possible it does not come easily.
This period is also identified with limitations or
restrictions that could occur in area of your life. Often
these health, financial or relationship setbacks serve to
make you stronger and build your character.
If this essence is in effect for 3 years or more life might
feel like an endless struggle. However at the end of this
type of cycle usually lies a major personal triumph or
career accomplishment.
Essence Number 5
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This Essence number indicates a period of time when you may
experience more independence and freedom. You may find
yourself single at this time and life may seem like an
endless number of adventures.
Travel or a change of residence is also indicated by an
Essence 5 period. The influence also stresses changes,
opportunities and rapidly changing circumstances that
require constant flexibility.
One drawback of this period is loneliness and another is a
tendency to scatter your interests in so many directions
that you don't accomplish anything at all.
If an Essence 5 period lasts for 3 or more years it can
reflect a period of financial or mental instability or
having to constantly relocate or be "on the run" because of
circumstances you can't control.
Essence Number 6
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This denotes a very cozy and domestic period of time when
home and the family will be the main focus. It can also
indicate marriage or starting a family.
This is a very dutiful, civic-minded influence and during a
Number 6 period people are more likely to devote themselves
to good causes to do with improving their community.
This influence can also mean assuming extra responsibility
for elderly relatives or cousins or dealing with a family
member's health problems.
If an Essence 6 period extends for three years or longer
then it might indicate a period during which you are
completely at the mercy of a family member's problems. It
might also mean having a lot of children in a short period
of time. It can also indicate the giving up one's ambition
to support a family, adoption and foster care.
Essence Number 7
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This period denotes a time of introversion or self-imposed
isolation. You may not feel like connecting to other people
much. Your focus may only be on your own self-growth,
hobbies and interests.
A Number 7 Essence period can also indicate a retreat in
order to try and heal oneself psychological or emotionally.
It is a good period to embark on therapy.
The period can also indicate an intense period of learning
or study or a period when a focus on one's education does
not leave much time for anything else.
If the Number 7 Essence is in effect for 3 years or more it
can indicate that a traumatic event as turned you away from
society. Mental illness is a possibility as is
incarceration. It can also indicate a person not in touch
with reality.
Essence Number 8
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a lucky time in which it is very easy for you to
get ahead financially. Usually people acquire a lot of
valuable material things during this period.
The Number 8 Essence denotes a time when your professional
reputation and credibility is enhanced. It is easily to
build a business or career and many come to respect you as
an expert or a pillar of the community.
It is a period during which you are likely to meet a lot of
people who can help you with your career. The drawback is
that you are so busy that you might not have much time for
family, romance or health.
If the Essence 8 period lasts more than three years
...periods of 8 Essence exceeding 3 years it can mean a
period where you achieve wealth, fame, power and status to
an extreme degree.
Essence Number 9
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This can designate a period in your life when you are very
much ruled by your emotions. Many people either meet or
break up with a soul mate during this influence.
The Essence Number 9 also denotes a period where you may
experience many endings and upsetting changes. Things that
used to interest you may become dull and your tastes and
hobbies may change.
This period can also describe a time of soul searching and
a devotion to religious or philanthropic causes.
If the Number 9 Essence period lasts for more than 3 years
it can denote a non-stop catastrophic love affair or being
deluded by a cultist religious beliefs.
For the Essences of the number 11 and 22, refer to 2 and 4
respectively. However, the 11 Essence has a very strong
spiritual overtone about it, while the 22 Essence may
signal a time of significant achievement or fame.
